MICHAEL ADRIAN COOK June 4, 1949 - September 20, 2003 On Saturday, September 20, 2003, Mike Cook of Edmonton passed away at the age of 54 years. Mike is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving wife Karen; children, Paul (Kari) grandchildren, Justin and Taylor; Shawn and grandson Haven; Michael (Jaylene), Shileah (Jason) brothers, John (Sharon), Paul and Phil (Brenda) sister Sandra (special friend Richard) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mike was predeceased by his father Alex (1951) and mother Dorothy (1994). Mike loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, gardening and golfing. He will be dearly missed and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Mike, you are now free. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Rd., Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. A special thanks to all the staff at the University Hospital, Units 5G4 and 3A2, Heart Transplant Team and the Heart Function Stabilization Clinic from the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
