LILY KOPEL Passed away peacefully, at age 97 years, on Friday, September 19, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Morris Kopel, loving mother of Merv (Lynn) Stone; Sally Stone and Jennie Moscovitch; beloved sister of Frances Polon of Palo Alto, CA, Thelma Schacter of Winnipeg, and Morris Stone of Vancouver. Lily was predeceased by her daughter Claire Nirenstein of Long Island, NY. Baba Lil was grandmother to Robyn Greene, David Stone, Candace Good, Penny Spiwack, Cindy Kearse, Sherwin Moscovitch, and Ellen Matharu. She leaves 11 great-grandchildren. Shiva will be held at Place Louis Riel Hotel, Suite 2201 until Thursday evening, September 25. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sharon Home Music Therapy Program, 146 Magnus Ave. or to the charity of your choice.
