WALTER HANS LUNDIN April 14, 1921 - September 20, 2003 Peacefully at the age of 82 years, our father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on September 20, 2003. A remarkable and much loved man, he will be sorrowfully missed. Walter was born April 14, 1921 to Walfred and Arvida Lundin in Bergland, ON. He moved to St. Boniface in 1967 where he worked as a mechanic/welder. Walter was predeceased by his wife Irene; daughter Joanne; sisters, Ann, Elsie and brother Edward. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Sharon (Bob) Pelissier and sons, Wally (Sheree) Lundin, Don (Diane) Lundin; his 12 grandchildren, Christina (Ken), Sheree, Michelle (Mike), Terra, Angie (Duane), Ashley, Jeff, Jordan, Stacey, Tamara, Sheena, Dayna and his five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden, Emma, Brady and one on the way; many numerous nieces and nephews and his sister Esther of Kenora. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Walters life will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A special thanks to all the staff at St. Norbert Nursing Home and Victoria General Hospital for their loving care and kindness.
