Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES PETRASKO (nee TURSKI) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Frances passed away at Concordia Hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2003. Frances was predeceased by her husband John (1987) son-in-law Eddie (1991) four brothers and one sister. She will be sadly missed by her twelve children, Rudy (Lorraine), Leonard (Lillian), Dorothy (Casmer), Marianne (Alex), Shirley, Eddie (Zenia), Gloria (Ken), Marlene (Neil), John (Eleanore), Marg (Ed), Larry (Berneice) and Leona (Len) 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Frances was born September 13, 1915 in St. Norbert, MB. She spent her years working in the greenhouse and gardening business. Later in years when her health failed, she devoted all her time preparing big dinners for the family and whoever worked at the business. She was well known for her special soups, holobchi, perogies and pastry. Moms greatest joy in life was being part of all our family gatherings. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 26 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB with Rev. Fr. Taras Kowch officiating. Interment will follow in the Birds Hill Ukrainian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dale, Wesley, Clayton, Darren, Ken, Allan, Ron, Jamie and Jeff.
