Hello Janice My deepest condolences to your whole family.I am Heather Spinney (nee Genovese ) the Reg. Nurse that rented Arvid & Elise's basement suite back in 1973 -1977.I loved the two of them! I often wondered what had happened to Arvid. I did visit Elise once while she was in extended care, with our first young daughter Alison . So sorry to hear of Alvar's tragedy - so young. I met Alvar once when he was out visiting his mom & dad. They were proud of all their family ! I always remember the picture on the bookshelf of Arvid's boat - the Amber II. Elise used to call me her "adopted " daughter. We used to enjoy lots of laughs.I brought her up to visit my parents in Kelowna .Lots of memories! Hope this finds you all well.Take care.
