MARGARET ANN DRURY (nee) (McSTRAVICK) May 29, 1955 - September 19, 2003 Surrounded by her loving family, Margaret, aged 48 years, passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Margaret was predeceased by her mother Alice McStravick in July, 2003. Margaret was born in Lurgan, Ireland in 1955. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1958. Numerous members of her family still reside overseas. Margaret worked hard and played hard, she was a strong, kind, caring and compassionate woman, who was dedicated to her family and friends. She enjoyed music, dancing, laughing and having fun. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone around her. We are all now better people having known her. There are no words that do Margaret (Mom) justice, she was your voice when you couldnt speak, your eyes when you couldnt see, a shoulder when you needed to cry, your rock when you needed strength, your heart when you forgot how to love, and your faith when you lost all hope. Margaret we love you and well see you again, God has big plans for you! The family wishes to express thanks to the staff at S.O.G.H. u7 4th floor and cancer care at H.S.C. A special thanks from Kent, Brandon and Rochelle, to all family and friends who supported us when we needed it the most. At Margarets request, a private family service has been held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be So He put His arms around you and whispered come to Me So when we saw you sleeping so peaceful, free from pain We could not wish you back to suffer that again If love could build a stairway and heartache could make a lane We would take that path to heaven and bring you back again Butterflies are free and now so are you You will forever be loved
