MOIRA LOUISE ERB It is with great sorrow we announce the tragic passing of a dear mother, daughter and sister, Moira Louise Erb at the age of 36 years. Moira was predeceased by a brother Stewart Erb; a sister Lorna Erb; adoptive mother Margaret Erb; and grandmothers, Ethel Erb and Jean Condon. She is survived by her daughter Heather Erb, 12; sons, Corry Erb, 9, Trevor Erb, 7; brother Kyle Erb (Gayle) niece Brittany; nephew Justin; father Glen Erb; and grandfather Harold Erb; aunt Alice (Joe) Gluch; and many other friends and relations. When Moira came to live with us she was a very timid and lovable child. She attended Oak Bluff School for her primary grades and later Sanford for junior high school where she got into more than her share of trouble. She was enrolled to attend school in Winnipeg for the fall term in 1983, but chose to travel. After spending time in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Vancouver she returned to Winnipeg in 1999. Moira liked to do things to help other people. When her older sister Lorna lost her eye sight and later a leg, Moira took pride in helping Lorna get around, on and off the school bus, and other areas unfamiliar to Lorna. Moira did many hours of charity work at Nine Circles Community Health Centre, Kalishiva Aids Services, Sunshine House, Crisis Centre phone line and many other community services. Moira was generally a very happy person and a real fighter for what she believed in. She always had a joke ready for you every time you met her. You would either get five phone calls a day from Moira, or not hear from her for five days. Moira made many attempts to break away from her addictions, and was making progress. Moira was last seen August 2, 2003 and her body was found September 17, 2003. A service of remembrance for Moira will be held on Thursday, October 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Weetanah Community Church at 324 Logan Ave. in Winnipeg. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army or other charity of your choice in Moiras name would be appreciated. Youve touched our hearts In more than one way Your caring and forgiveness has paved a path for others To believe, to follow, and to continue your journey Rest now, sweet Moe Youll never be forgotten - Love your Bro
