Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANISLAW NOWAK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our beloved father and grandfather Stanislaw Nowak, aged 81 on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Stanislaw was born on January 7, 1922 in Bronocice, Poland. He was sent to Germany during the war where he met his wife Felicja. They were married there and soon after their son Stan was born. In 1949, Stan came to Canada alone to find a better life for his wife and son. He found work in Russell, MB and sent for them. A few years later they moved to St. Boniface and their daughter Krys was born. Stan worked for many years for the City of St. Boniface and the City of Winnipeg until his retirement in 1981. He was a founding member of the St. Andrew Bobola Church as well as a long time member of Sokol Hall No. 2. He was predeceased by his wife Felicja in January 2000 and is survived by his son Stan; daughter Krys; son-in-law Courtney and grandchildren, Kristian and Mark McMillan, as well as relatives in Poland. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27 at St. Andrew Bobola Church, 541 Marion St. with prayers and viewing at 10:00 a.m. until time of service with Fr. Jan Spyrka officiating. Interment to follow immediately after the funeral at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens on Highway 59. Wieczny odpoczynek, racz mu daj Panie We will miss you forever.
