Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE ANNE SKOGSBERG (GILCHRIST) (nee BOUTILIER) July 1, 1929 - September 22, 2003 Peacefully on September 22, 2003 Bea passed away with her husband by her side. Bea is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Fred. She also leaves to mourn her son Roderick (Heather) grandchildren, Devin and Rhys of Winnipeg; her daughter Veanne (Lawrence) of Maple Ridge, BC; niece Debbie (Brian) and children, Joseph and Robin of Banff, AB; nephews, Rob (Maryann) and daughter Kimberley, Brent (Terri) and children, Jennifer, Michael and Tracy of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by Donald, her loving husband of 42 years in 1993, her mother Victoria (Mooney) 1957, her father George 1980, stepmother Dora 1993, her brother Robert 1998, sister-in-law Jo 2003, father-in-law Archie 1993, mother-in-law Daisy 1996. Bea loved her family and enjoyed the love and support of all her special friends. She enjoyed many happy years at the cottage at Nutimik Lake, as well as her winters in Arizona with Fred. Her grandchildren, Devin and Rhys were very special to her. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital, especially the staff on Unit 9, 3rd floor for their dedicated, professional and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. As requested by Bea no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Firefighters Burn Fund Inc., 303-83 Garry St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4J9. Afterglow Id like the memory of me to be a happy one, Id like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. Id like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy time and bright and sunny days.
