HENRY KRUSCHEL February 28, 1909 - September 25, 2003 Surrounded by his family, Dad passed away peacefully at the age of 94. He was predeceased by his loving wife Otilge (Tillie) in 1991. Dad will be forever loved by his children, son Walter (Melba) granddaughter Leslie (Bruce) great-grandchildren, Cameron and Kendra; grandson Kerry (Wanda) great-granddaughters, Lindsey and Carleen; and grandson Douglas. Daughter Elsie; grandson Christopher (Jessica) great-grandson Kilian; grandson Andrew (Sheri) great-grandsons, Michael, Nathan, Jacob and great-granddaughter Natasha. Son Ernest (Evelyn) granddaughters, Cindy, Coralee (David) and grandson Ernest Jr. Daughter Margaret, and son Glenn (Claudette). Dad was predeceased by his sisters, Ruth and Ida. He is survived by his sisters, Amelia, Tabea, Linda, Silpa and brother John. Dad was born in Volhynia, Russia and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1928. He lived in the Swan River Valley until moving to Winnipeg in 1951. Dad was a kind, gentle man with a great sense of humour and will be fondly remembered by all his friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Luther Home for their care and compassion in Dads last year. The funeral was held on Saturday, September 27 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Pastor Don Engel officiating. Interment was held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Dads name to Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., Winnipeg, MB, R2V 2G9.
