She moved to Winnipeg in 1955 where she lived until moving five years ago to her dream home in Woodlands, MB. Many people will remember Jayne as she spent countless hours volunteering at Beaumont School, Oak Park Lodge in Woodlands and as a driver for cancer victims. Jayne loved birds, gardening, cooking, crafts and reading but her greatest passion above all was the world of sports, both as a competitor and a fan. She spent many weekends camping and at the family farm in Eriksdale. We will miss Jaynes sense of humour and her contagious laughter. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception to follow. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the palliative care unit and 3rd floor nurses and staff at the Grace General Hospital. We would also like to thank the CancerCare staff. Special thanks to Holly for her compassion. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Jayne to the Canadian Cancer Society. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in care of arrangements, 885-9715.
