IRENE MAY ANDERSON Peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Beacon Hill Lodge, Irene Anderson passed away at the age of 92 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Susan and husband Grant Bain; grandsons, Larry (Terrah-Lee) and Bradley; great-granddaughter Alexa-Lee; three sisters-in-law, Olive Anderson, Arna Robinson and Cora Welsh; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Anderson; her mother and father; and brother Clare Welsh. Irene loved the Whiteshell and fishing with her husband and friends. Lately her greatest joy was from visits with her great-granddaughter. The family wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge, especially on the Seventh Floor, for their kindness and gentle care. A private family graveside service has taken place. If family and friends so wish, donations may be made in Irenes memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, R2L 1X3. "O Death!
