Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES LYLE BARKER Lyle passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on September 26, 2003. Lyle was a life member of Young United Church. From 1942 - 1946, Lyle served in the Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F.) during the Second World War in England, Belgium, Germany and Holland. After the war, Lyle worked for the City of Winnipeg at Assiniboine Park and he also served with the Corps Of Commissionaires, with his last job being with Aikins Macaulay and Thorvaldson Law Firm where he retired in 1985. His hobbies were radios and cars. Lyle was predeceased by loving wife Doris of 64 years, his parents Judson and Clara, his sister Eileen and brother Gordon. He is survived by niece Betty and many relatives and friends. Special thanks to Tina and Vera. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday October 1st at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 669 Broadway 783-7211
