JAMES BLAIR KOUBEK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of James Blair Koubek on September 25, 2003. James was born on March 26, 1966 to Joseph (Bud) and Florence Koubek. He was predeceased by his father in 1994 and by both sets of grandparents. James will be lovingly remembered by his long-time partner Annette Lipscomb; his mother; his sister Susan Moeller (Dave) his aunt Roberta Milne and many friends and co-workers. James excelled at school and attained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba. He went on to work at CIBC for many years. James enjoyed working in the financial industry and made many close friends during this time. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
