VALERIE HAZEL LAMERANTE June 8, 1950 - September 22, 2003 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our mother and grandmother on Monday, September 22, 2003. She was born and raised in Winnipeg, married Dad and stayed home to raise her children. Mom was predeceased by her beloved parents, Lawrence and Frances Martin. Mom is survived by her husband Edmond; son Rick; daughters, Debra and Justina, and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Amanda, Drew, Nicky, Matthew and Tyler. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Brenda and Sheila; brothers, Larry, Terry, Grant and Tim; and special friend Veselin. We would also like to send a special thank you to Kathy and John, for your help and support throughout the years. Mom will also be greatly missed by her many friends. A funeral service is to be held on Monday, September 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
