GERMAINE PINEAU (nee LEGARE) Peacefully, on Friday, September 26, 2003, Germaine passed away at Tache Center at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Suzanne Tkach (Laurence) and grandsons, Jude (Belinda) and Beau from Coquitlam, BC. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Simone, Jeanne (Jim) Montreal, Therese (Athanase) and brothers, Charles, Fernand (Orise), Camille, c.s.v., in-laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who really loved "ma tante Germaine". Germaine was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Emma; her husband Leon and three brothers, Raymond, Jules and Roger and numerous in-laws. Born in Dunrea, MB in 1915, she worked in St. Boniface until she married Leon Pineau in 1942 and moved to Ste. Rose. After his death in 1965, she moved to St. Boniface where she lived the remainder of her life. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of the Tache Centre for their compassion and professional help. You have been remarkable. Prayers will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be at Holy Family Church at 778 Archibald St. on Monday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant will be Fr. Ronald Leger c.s.v. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Private interment of Germaines remains will take place in the Ste. Rose du Lac Cemetery at a later date.
