GEORGE RYGIEL It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of George Rygiel on September 26, 2003 at the Grace Hospital. George was born in Winnipeg, on October 16, 1926. George was predeceased by his: wife Rose, parents Martin and Mary, and brother Mitchell. George loved to dance at the many Winnipeg dance halls including the Paddock, Highwayman, and Orange Hall. George worked as a Fire Equipment Maintainer at CN Rail for more than 40 years. He was a highly active person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Whenever a perfectly maintained, salmon-coloured 1955 Pontiac came rolling along, you always knew George was about.
