John was born in Chalone-Sur-Marne, France. At an early age John and his family moved to Hudson, ON. From there they moved to the north end of Winnipeg. John worked in the garment industry for many years (Century 21, Westcott Fashions), then moved to Perth, Australia to work for K.F.C. A year later he moved back to Winnipeg and John took a welding course and worked for General Machines. Then he bought Niakawa Pizza, which was renamed Mr. Bs Pizza and Chicken. Johns family meant the world to him. He loved to spend time with them and also to buy them little surprises. At Christmas time he always bought all of us gifts from "Santa" John loved his back yard and spend many happy hours there. He loved to work in the garden and plant his flowers, until this got to be too much for him. John enjoyed playing crib with all his friends at Mr. Bs. He also enjoyed his ritual at the Silver Spike and all the bands that passed through there. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
