CHARLES EDOUARD MIRON Peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2003 at 12 noon, Charles Edouard Miron passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Gustave and Albert and his youngest son Robert Charles who died in an accident on April 14, 1981. He is survived by his three sisters, Gabrielle, Mathilde and Cecile. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 52 years Aurelie Miron. He is survived by his five other children and their families, Lucille and Warren Swait, Irene Morrish-Simmons, Ernest and Rita Miron, Noelie and Maurice Lavergne, Faye and Chris Tascona; his fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Christine and Robert Swait; Ian, Aaron and Andrena Morrish; Natalie, Luc, Eric, Simon and Annick Miron; Diane, Andre and Melanie Lavergne and bebe Tascona and his great-grandchildren, Alisha and bebe Tran and Evan Miron. He will also be fondly remembered and missed by his grandchildrens spouses, Ty Tran, Leann Miron and Brigitte Swait. Special thanks to the staff of the HSC Renal Transplant Clinic, GD5 at Health Sciences Centre and the staff of E6 at St. Boniface General Hospital. The care, comfort and compassion given to Dad enriched all of us. All your actions were a gift of love in this wonderful and difficult journey. A funeral mass will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, at Sts.-Martyrs-Canadiens Parish, 289 Dussault Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private interment of his cremated remains will be at a later date. Papa Cheri, You have been gentle and strong, and full of grace. We have stood stalwart at your side through wind and rain and sun. You are a mighty oak from which many saplings have sprung. We have been blessed by your spirit and your humility. With the greatest of love and respect, you will never fade from our memory.
