CATHERINA (KAY) FOSSAY Peacefully, on Sunday, September 28, 2003 at Park Manor Personal Care Home, Transcona, Kay Fossay in her 91st year. Kay leaves to mourn her passing, daughter Donna Fossay; grandson John Strang; sisters, Christeen Arden and Lily Hicks; sister-in-law Mary Pawlychka; brother-in-law Fred Wickenden; her many nieces and nephews, old friends, and special friend Christine Bridgett. Kay was predeceased by her husband Norris; parents, Stas and Katie Pawlychka; sisters, Nellie, Annie, Mary, Tillie, Eva, Jean; brothers, John, Sammy, Mike, George. Kay was born in Western Ukraine on October 8, 1912, grew up in the Chatfield area of Manitoba, married Norris Fossay on June 28, 1941, and farmed in the Starbuck district until his death in July 1984. Special thanks to everyone at Park Manor PCH who took such good care of Kay and Donna in those last days, especially the Second Floor nursing and support staff. Viewing at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Thursday, October 2 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, Starbuck, MB on Friday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to service. Pastor Ron Vert officiating. Burial follows at Bethlehem Memorial Gardens, Dacotah, MB. Everyone is invited to the church hall for luncheon and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Kay may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Starbuck; Park Manor PCH, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or a charity of their choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
