ABE GIESBRECHT It is with deep sadness that the family of Abe Giesbrecht, aged 26 years, of Morris, announces his passing on Sunday September 28, 2003 at the Morris General Hospital. Abe was predeceased by his mother Maria (nee Fehr) in 2002. Left to mourn his passing are his father Abe D. Giesbrecht, sister Mary, both of Morris, and brother Ike and wife Rhonda of La Broquerie. He is also survived by paternal grandfather Abram Giesbrecht, and maternal grandparents, Isaak and Katrina Fehr. The funeral service will be held at the Winkler Sommerfelder Mennonite Church on Thursday October 2 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Schanzenfeld Cemetery. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service If friends so desire, donations may be made to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
