FORREST SCHEER It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our dad, husband, and grandfather on September 29, 2003 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. Forrest leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his wife Ginnie; son Tom (Kathi) daughters, Theresa (Terry), Sherri, Terri (Paul), and Anita (Stewart) and his dear grandchildren, Cayla, Chelsea, Jennifer, Derek, Jaime, Lindsay and Spencer. Forrest is also survived by his sister Ruth (Larry) of Bakersfield, CA and in-laws LeRoy Erickson (Jayne) of Larned, KS, Maxine (Fritz), Omaha, NE and Bernelda (Lynn) Cowley, Wy., numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Thanks to Cancer Care Manitoba, Dr. Krahn, Dr. Dyck, nurses and staff at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach for their wonderful care, and to Dads friends for all the kindness and concern you showed during his illness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Thursday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr.; Steinbach, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Forrests memory may be made to the Steinbach 55 Plus Centre, 304 - 2nd St., Box 20574, Steinbach, MB R0A 2T2.
