GEORGE FORSTER "OPA" Peacefully, on September 29, 2003, after a lengthy illness George Forster passed away at the age of 75. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Katherina. He will also be sadly missed by his three children, Herb (Lynda), Marianne Goyda (Preston) and Helm (Donna) six grandchildren, Lisa (Luke) EisBrenner, Christine Gojda, Tammy (John) Brinkman, Tara Forster, Carrie Forster (Dan), Janis Gojda; and one great-grandchild Kaylee Funk. George will also be mourned by his siblings, Elizabeth, Betty, and Adolf and families. George came from Germany to Canada in 1958 with his young family seeking a new life and adventure. He was a perfectionist and put a lot of pride in everything he attempted. He had a great passion for his family and for nature. Opa especially cherished the endless hours that he spent with his granddaughters. George had many hobbies which he enjoyed to the fullest, some of which were gardening, breeding canaries and tropical fish. We think of you as living in the hearts of those you touched . . . for nothing loved is ever lost and you were loved so much. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow.
