ANN MARIA McNAUGHTON October 12, 1910 - September 29, 2003 Ann Maria McNaughton of Calgary, AB passed away on September 29, 2003 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her two sons, William J, (Theresa) McNaughton and Douglas H. (Susan) McNaughton; and granddaughter Kristen McNaughton, all of Calgary. Ann was predeceased by her husband James M. McNaughton in 1988. Ann was born in Winnipeg on October 12, 1910 into a close family of four girls and five boys and is survived also by many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada and elsewhere. She completed her schooling in Winnipeg and married James in 1939. They moved the family to Saskatoon in 1947, returning to Winnipeg in 1970. Ann had a very active and productive life. In 1973 she moved to Calgary, continuing to work in the travel industry until her retirement in 1980. She travelled extensively and after retirement led groups from the Second Sixties organization on tours around the world. She enjoyed cross-country skiing and hiking with her many friends at the Confederation Park Senior Citizens Centre. Ann will be laid to rest with her husband in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg.
