MICHEL "MIKE" GIROUARD It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Michel (Mike) Girouard on October 1, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 60, after a long and courageous battle. Mike was born on July 8, 1943, in Woodridge, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Adolphe and Olive in 1989. He will be sadly missed by his loving and caring wife Ilaine; stepchildren, Dean Dymont and Mary Lynne Barylski (Jim) grandchildren, Bradley and Stephanie. He also leaves one brother Tony (Eliane) five sisters, Yolande Labossiere (Raymond), Germaine Bartley, Raymonde Palud (Robert), Claire Claeys, Helen LeBleu (Ron) numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the dedicated and caring staff and doctors on 5A, also Dr. Shojania and staff of Oncology at St. Boniface Hospital. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 6 at St. Boniface Cathedral with Fr. Paul Campeau presiding. Interment will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie LeBleu, Jim Barylski, Dean Dymont, Dean Claeys, Luc Girouard and Leo Girouard.
