MARJORIE HILDA STEVENSON Marjorie Hilda, in her 83rd year, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on September 29, 2003 at Evergreen House in North Vancouver, BC, after a short struggle with cancer. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael in 1985, where they both resided with their daughter and her family in West Vancouver, BC, Yorkton, SK was Marjories birthplace until she moved to Winnipeg, MB at an early age, where she worked and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Marjorie is survived by her son Ronald (Cheryl) Stevenson of Burnaby: daughter Myrna (Lou Blair) Stevenson-Blair of West Vancouver; three grandchildren, Kathy (Scott) Butler; Lorne (Laurell) Stevenson; Tyler Stevenson-Blair: four great-grandchildren, Sarah Butler (Tim) Gary Butler; Jaden and Devon Stevenson; and one great-great-grandson, Carson (Sarah and Tim) all of B.C. Her sister Nellie MacKay of Manitoba and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. Her passion was a lifetime filled with antiques, dolls, teddy bears and toys. Many will remember Marjs sales tables and her smiles with great fondness. She will be greatly missed. Bingo nights will never be the same without her bingo partner, niece Kathy Querns (nee MacKay). The family wishes to thank Drs. Eric and Bertha Briscoe and the nurses and caregivers at Evergreen House TCU, 3 South for their kindness and thoughtfulness and the staff at Lions Gate Hospital Palliative Care Unit. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, BC V7J 2J1. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
