NICHOLAS JOHN ZABOWSKI Suddenly, on October 1, 2003 at his home, Nicholas Zabowski passed away at age 91 years. Nick was predeceased by his wife Annette, and leaves to mourn his many nieces, nephews and especially his good friends. Nick was also predeceased by his brothers and only sister. Born and raised in Pine Ridge, Nick worked for many years with Building Products. Following his service in the army, he married Annette and together they made their home on McKay Avenue. Nick was an avid golfer and taught this sport to the youth in Teulon. He also thoroughly enjoyed his gardening, his animals and the company of his friends. He shall be sadly missed. Funeral service will be conducted by Randy Allison on Monday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Burial to follow at the Birds Hill Park Cemetery Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
