KRISTJANA (LAURA) GUDLAUG BRABANT (nee ANDERSON) December 16, 1927- October 4, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Laura Brabant of Winnipeg, MB at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 75 years. Laura will be sadly missed by her husband, John Brabant; her brothers and sisters, Harold, Cap, Si and Raymond; her children, Mary, Ed, Fern and Terry; her grandchildren, Brenda, Laura (Mark), Mark, Matthew, Sherry and Gary. She will be especially missed by her great-grandchildren, Melissa, Andrea, Michael and one year old Blade, who was the new light in her eyes and heart; as well as all her countless relatives and friends. Laura will be joining her loving family, parents, Harry and Kristjana; her brothers and sisters, Oliver, Olive, Rosemary and Edward. We will all miss her smiling face and her caring heart. Special thanks to all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital on ward 3B and to the home care staff. Thanks for all your caring and compassion, it will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Siglunes Hall on Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. Jim Anderson will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Hola Cemetery.
