PETER GERELUS June 1, 1919 - October 4, 2003 Peacefully, on Saturday, October 4, 2003, Peter passed away at the Grace General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Mary, of 55 years of marriage; his children Patricia, Hilda, Gerry (Sue) and Theresa (Ted Wakefield) grandchildren, Kris (Lynn) Patzer, Kyle Patzer (Michelle), Jan, Cory, Kyle and Ryan Finn; Kourtney-Lee and Edward Gerelus and Stephanie Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kirklin and Tristin Patzer; brothers Joe and Alec; sister Mae; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Peter was predeceased by his siblings, John, Mike, Anne, Stella and Teenie. Divine Liturgy was held on Wednesday, October 8 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt St. with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, O.S.B.M. officiating. Interment followed in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined.
