KENNETH FREDERICK WILLIAM HILL SR. It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Kenneth Hill Sr. on October 3, 2003. Ken was born in Winnipeg on February 7, 1943. He will be missed by his son Kenneth Hill Jr.; daughter Kerry Borsa; grandsons, Jared and Joshua Borsa; father Frederick Hill; sisters, Beverly Hill, Sharon Hill (Jack) and brother Brian Hill (Glenda). Ken was predeceased by his mother Mabel Hill. Ken worked for Acme Chrome Furniture for 1963 to 1966 and then for the Canadian Pacific Railway from 1966 until his retirement in 1996. Ken enjoyed listening to and collecting music, visiting car shows, and learning about computers. He was happiest when playing with his two grandsons. Dad loved spending time with his many friends and will be fondly remembered by those who knew him for his willingness to help others. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Winnipeg Police Service, Paramedics and Seven Oaks Emergency. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to all those who helped at the scene. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
