Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN LEO SINCLAIR It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend, Norman Leo Sinclair. Norman left us suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, October 3, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. with his beloved wife by his side. Norman was born on November 21, 1964, at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB. He grew up and lived in Dauphin River, Jackhead, Lake St. Martin, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Regina. In 1995, Norman moved up north to Thompson, where he met his beloved wife Lorna, and married her on September 18, 1999. Norman was a kind, giving and a well respected man and he respected everyone that he met. He had a very kind heart and always gave and did not leave anyone out. Norman also loved his traditonal art of carving and painting on his free time. He also loved the nature of the outdoors. Norman loved children and loved all his nephews and nieces, they were all special to him. Norman will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife Lorna; father Irvin Sinclair; father-in-law Daniel Kirkness; daughters, Layla and Deanna; sisters, Mary (Larry) Spence, Marie (Jim) Beardy; brothers, Marvin (Rita) Sinclair, George Sinclair, Willie Sinclair, Eugene (Jackie) Sinclair, Terry (Kate) Traverse; sisters-in-law, Caroline (Joe) Ouskun, Agnes (Jeff) Henderson, Thelma (Peter) Garrioch, Ida (Angus) Ballantyne, Rubina Kirkness, William Kirkness, Linda Kirkness, Shirley (Leonard) Beardy, Sylvia (Mike) McKay, Bradley Kirkness and Kerry Kirkness; also several half-brothers, half-sisters, numerous nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Norman was predeceased by his mother Bertha Sinclair; step-father Joe Chippaway; brother Theodore; sister Marion Ryle (September 10, 2003) uncle Dave Traverse; nephew Gilbert Spence Jr.; mother-in-law Eunice Kirkness and Horace Morris. A special thank you to the Split Lake Nursing Station, Thompson General Hospital, Air Ambulance Skyward, Health Sciences Centre Nursing Staff at G B Wing Ward, Abraham Keeper for his quick action in taking him to the nursing Station and delivering messages to family members, also to the Chief and Council of Tataskweyak Cree Nation, Gaming Commission and the Anderson Family Funeral Home, and to all our friends and relatives for all their care, love and support during this difficult time. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Bread of Life Ministry, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at his home in Split Lake, and on Thursday, October 9 at the Split Lake Community Hall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Split Lake Community Hall, Split Lake with Martha Spence officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery.
