Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURENCE (LARRY) LORNE HUNT 1924- 2003 After a courageous struggle, Larry passed away quietly at Grace Hospital. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Doreen; three sons, Larry (Trudy), Paul (Cathy), Kevin (Joanne) six grandchildren, Danny, Deanne, Lorne, Kory, Melanie, Renee; three great grandchildren, Katia, Javen, Kate; sister Faye; brother in-law Bob; and nephews Scott, Greg and Kirk. He was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Hazel Hunt, and brothers Earl and Lloyd. Larry was born and raised in southern Ontario and received an Honours Degree in Business Administration from Western University in London, ON. After several years with Xerox Corp and after opening their Winnipeg office, Larry taught Business Administration at Red River Community College for 20 years before retirement. He was a member of A.N.A.F Unit 283 and also a member of The Over 55 & Retired Club, of which he was treasurer for five years. The family would like to thank the Grace Hospital and all of their wonderful caring staff that looked after him during his many visits during the past few years, also a special thanks to Dr. T.H. Gooi. A service will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 7, 2003, the Reverend Gordon Shields presiding. A reception will be held following the service at the A.N.A.F. Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
