LILY ANN PARKE Born February 6, 1913 - Swinton, Manchester, England It is with great sadness that on October 4, 2003 at the Pine Falls Hospital, Lily Parke peacefully passed on at the age of 90 years with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved mother of Kevin and wife Vivian; grandchildren, Angela, Melodie, Josie, Kevin Jr., Robin and Cameron. She also leaves her sisters, Joan of Winnipeg and May, Patricia, Nora; and brothers, Gerard and Peter in England; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Parke; her parents, George and Lucy; as well as numerous sisters and brothers. We would like to thank for their care, the doctors and nurses at Pine Falls Hospital and friends, Mrs. Palchowski and Jeanette. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Stead, MB with Rev. Fr. Jim Gray presiding. Interment will follow at the Gull Lake cemetery. God Bless You, like Nana always said.
