JEAN WEBER Jean B. Weber, aged 78, of Stratford, ON passed away peacefully in the presence of her children, on Friday, October 3, 2003 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in Epson, England she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha Jenny (Smith) Kelly. Jean had worked for the Huron-Perth Roman Catholic Separate School Board for some 25 years and was actively involved with the CWL of St. Josephs Church, the Stratford Hospital Auxiliary, WRNS/WRCNS and Beta Sigma Phi. With her retirement she became more dedicated to these organizations, touching those who benefit from their work. Dear wife of the late Allan Cyril Weber (January 17, 1977). Dear mother of Ian G. Weber of Stratford, Deirdre A. Weber and husband Terry P. Derraugh of Winnipeg and Kurt F. Weber of Calgary. Also survived by precious step granddaughters, Jennifer Derraugh and Johanna Barefoot and husband Michael and their son Eric John; brothers-in-law, Victor Y. Norburn of Brampton and Walter Webber of Toronto; sister-in-law Edna Weber of Toronto and their families. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother Frank Kelly, sister Renee Norburn and her mother and father-in-law, Rose and Wilfred Weber of Neustadt. Relatives and friends will be received at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford on Monday, October 6 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Stratford on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. Jean will be remembered fondly, lovingly. Her children humbly request any offerings of sympathy be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Huron-Perth Lung Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Palliative Care Unit of the Stratford General Hospital in her memory.
