ROSE YUN KWAI AU (nee TAM) It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Rose on Friday, October 3, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital, aged 71. Rose is survived by her devoted husband Denny of 50 years and sister Bao Lian of China. She will be sadly missed by nephews, William, Roy, Jian Hong, Ken, Doug, Yu Kwan and Keong of China; and nieces, Jean, Susie, Joan, Joyce and seven nieces in China. She will also be sadly missed by many grandnephews and grandnieces. Rose was born on February 2, 1932 in Kai Ping, Guangdong, China. She married Denny in 1953 and came to Winnipeg in 1966. Rose worked at Rice Garment till retirement. Many whom known Rose will remember her as a generous and caring individual. She loved all her family deeply and treasured the times spent with them. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor John Lee, will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 1:30 p.m., also in the funeral home.
