CATHERINE SMITH (KATY) (nee LAMIRANDE) It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Catherine on October 3, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Willard (Smitty) of 56 years on April 13, 2001. She leaves to mourn her six children, Marlene (Dan) Carpentier of Lloydminster, SK, Lorette Anderson, Eva (Josef) Kovacs, Dwayne (Vivian) Smith of Nelson, BC, Linda (Larry) and Diana Smith; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Denise Perrault, Rita Birch; brother Emil Lamirande; many nieces, nephews and friends. Many thanks to our sisters, Eva, Lorette and Evas grandchild Tiffany who took such great loving care of her in her final days. Mother, you will be missed so much by your children and grandchildren but we know you wanted to be with Dad. There will be no service at our Mothers request.
