Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA BAILEY Suddenly after a short illness on October 4, 2003 at the Grace Hospital, Hilda Louisa Bailey, aged 87, beloved mother, Nana, New Nana. Hilda was born March 24, 1916 to Charles and Agnes Few at Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, England the eldest of seven children. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Irene and son-in-law Norman Clark; grandchildren, Karen (Ed) Oviatt, Maria (Darrin) Lysack and Julie (Carlos) Williams (England), Andrew, Christopher and Micheala Bainbridge (Australia) great-grandchildren, Gordon and Samantha Oviatt, Justin, Andrew and Carter Lysack all of Winnipeg, Sarah, Robert and Laura Williams (England) and the seven in Australia she has never seen; great-great-granddaughter Aries Oviatt; sister Margaret (Ontario) and brothers, Cyril and Ronald (England). She was predeceased by her husband Frederic in 1973 and daughter Freda. Her parents, Charles and Agnes; brothers, William and Hubert; and sister Gladys. Hilda came to Canada September 30, 1982 and lived with her daughter and son-in-law for 10 years before moving to her apartment, where for several years she was President of the Tenants Association. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to people who needed her help. She was devoted to her family and loved to watch the great-grandsons play their sports, was an avid Jets fan, loved going to the trailer near Gimli and to be in the garden. Nan was a great cook and her trifle will be missed by all the family. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Out thanks to the staff of 3 South / West at Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. To Blanche, Lena, Myrtle, Mrs. Anderson, Nancy and Bev at Carriage Road for their friendship and for others there who were always kind to her. To the parishioners of the Chapel of The Good Shepherd for their support. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Hospital Palliative Care, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, or a charity of your choice.
