Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE CARTWRIGHT Peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2003 in Winnipeg at the Central Park Lodge, Poseidon Bay, Katherine Cartwright passed away. Katherine was born in Vita, MB in 1907. Katherine lived her early life in Winnipeg where she worked as a legal secretary and eventually moved to Montreal before returning to Winnipeg to be closer to her family. Katherine was predeceased by husband Bob Forbes and her second husband Ronald Cartwright. She was also predeceased by sisters, Julia Evans (Taylor), Olga Gardiner (Taylor) and brothers, Steve Taylor and Jerry Taylor and niece Jae McKie. She is survived by nieces, Randa Martel, Geraldine Keam, Barbara Donnelly and Yvonne Hargrave and nephews, Alex Gardiner and Ian Gardiner. She is also survived by sister-in-law Pearl Taylor. Aunt Kay will be very fondly remembered for her generosity, her love of flowers and gardens and her spirited laughter. A special thanks from the family to Joan and Sandra Rettie who comforted her in her remaining years. Interment will take place on Wednesday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery.
