MADELINE ROSE MARIE CLAYTON (nee NOBISS) June 30, 1937 - October 5, 2003 On October 5, 2003 our beloved "Mickey" passed away. She departed the way she lived her life; with courage and dignity against all odds. We mourn her departure but will celebrate her journey as she joins her mother Pearl, her father Maxim and brothers, Raymond and Peter. She leaves in sorrow her husband and best friend of 38 years Peter; her daughters, Laura Fisher, partner Wes Mackey, Heather Houston, husband Lionel, granddaughter Amber, her sons, Edward Hill, wife Robin, grandsons, Edward, Nicoshie, partner Hester, great-granddaughter Allyasa, grandson Brett Nicoshie, son Darryl Clayton and wife Tanya; also her sisters, Marilyn Nantel, Elizabeth (Betty) Wolak, Gail Ward, husband Charles (Chuck) brothers, Rick Nobiss, wife Anna, Bob Nobiss, wife Carole, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral arrangements, Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. (586-7700). Prayers to be held Wednesday, October 8 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, October 9, 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please forward donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
