RUTH NORRIS With great sadness, the family of Ruth Norris announces her passing on October 5, 2003, at the Middlechurch Home. Ruth is survived by her grandson Griffin Norris; sister Emma Wiesner; nieces, Barbara, Penny, Debbie; nephews, Larry, Bob, Jim and their families. She was predeceased by her son Richard; sister Eleanor; and brothers, George, Walter, Edward and Charles. Ruth was born in 1922 in Plumas, MB and grew up in Winnipeg. She worked for many years with Manitoba Telephone System where she made many friends. Family was always very important to her, and upon her retirement in 1980, she devoted her energy to her son Rick and grandson Griffin, with whom she shared many happy times. We have lost a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, she made a great difference in all our lives. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruths memory to the Alzheimers Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
