MARGARET EDITH TAYLOR Suddenly, but peacefully, Margaret Edith Taylor, in her 89th year, passed away on October 6, 2003 at Grace Hospital. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband, James Anderson Taylor; brother Ted Fleming; brother-in-law Tony Restivo and parents, Margaret and Walter Fleming. She will be dearly missed and remembered by her family, daughter Joan Leeson; son Ed (Velma) Taylor; daughter Shirley (Wayne) Oike and grandchildren, Ryan and Brock Leeson, Cossette Taylor-Mendes (Fabricio), Ian Taylor, Oliver (Shauna) Oike, Amanda Oike and great-granddaughter Grace Oike. Also remembering her are sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Terry Dickson; sisters-in-law, Ida Fleming, Jessie Restivo and Dorothy Holmes, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Edith was a very active and independent person who loved travelling, church activities, bridge club and family gatherings. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11 at Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of ones choice.
