DOROTHY J. SMITH (DOT) Dot passed away peacefully on October 4, 2003, at her home, Tehani, at Victoria Beach. She is survived by her best friend Diana Pennington; twin brother and his wife, Barry and Annette Saxon; many friends and pupils she has taught over a span of 30 years. In accordance with Dots wishes, no service will be held. A special thank you to Dr. Pat Harris and her oncology staff at the Concordia Hospital; Dr. Van Rooyen and staff at the Pine Falls Hospital; and finally, the palliative and home care staff that enabled Dot to spend her final days at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or a charity of your choice.
