DOUGLAS DICK 1923 - 2003 Peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2003 in Winnipeg, Douglas was called home to the Lord. He lived a full, rich life of 80 years. Although he was of ill health the last couple of months, he was never one to complain much. Douglas was born in Split Lake, MB, but made his home in Winnipeg for the last 15 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Maria (nee McPherson) Dick; sisters, Lucy "Maggie" (John), Betsy (Walter), Sarah (Tobie) and Dora, plus other relatives. He leaves to cherish his memory brothers, Sampson (Elizabeth), Daniel (Mary), Harold (Elsie), Dolores, Billy, Robert, Michael and his heart Christalena, many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends; special friend Bill and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB. Interment will follow at St. Peters Anglican Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
