KEN LARSEN On Monday, October 6, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg, Ken Larsen, of Inwood, MB passed away at the age of 56 years. Ken is survived by his loving wife Iris; children, Teresa (Marc), Jeffery (Corlie), Wade (Helena) mother Beatrice Larsen; sister Joyce (Paul) Buors. He was predeceased by his father Len Larsen in 1980, and his father-in-law Tan Bruce in 1995. Ken was born January 23, 1947 at Teulon, MB and attended Ideal School, finishing in St. Laurent. In 1968 he married Iris Bruce and together they raised three children. He was a certified plumber but his passion was farming. He enjoyed guiding, hunting and fishing trips as well as spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Friday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. The service will conclude at the chapel. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Erinview Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Victoria Hospital for their wonderful care and support. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
