PATRICK JUNIOR MAYTWAYASHING (P.J.) "Sitting Eagle" Suddenly on October 5, 2003 at the Childrens Centre in Winnipeg, Patrick Junior Maytwayashing (P.J.) age 14 years, passed away with his loving family and friends at his side. P.J. was born August 3, 1989 at Winnipeg, MB. He leaves to mourn his father Patrick and friend Nadine; his mother Valerie and friend Ervin; sisters, Glenda and Samantha; brothers, Calvin and Brandon; he also leaves to mourn his grandfathers, Wallace Paul and Clifford Maytwayashing; and step-grandmother Eleanor Maytwayashing; his aunts, Angie Lucier (Bob), Cheryl Maytwayashing, and Stacey and Henry Roulette; cousins, Evan, Courtney and Kiana, Lyndon and Jayden; his aunts Victoria Maytwayashing, Hilda (Stanley) Campbell, Myrtle Bilinski, Lorna Richard, Lucy Missyabit, Debra Paul; uncle Earl Paul; numerous cousins and other family members. Patrick was predeceased by his grandmothers, Marlene Maytwayashing and Grace Paul; uncles, David and Arnold Paul; great-grandparents, Pat and Emma Maytwayashing, John and Ida McLean. A wake service will be held on Thursday, October 9 at Pat and Nadines residence on Lake Manitoba First Nation, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October, 10 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Mario officiating. Interment to follow at the Lake Manitoba Reserve Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Leslie McLean, Darryl Campeau, Ken Choken, Christopher Missyabit, Clayton Campbell and Ryan Houle. Honorary pallbearers will be all his classmates and friends. The family would like to thank Chief and Council and everyone who helped during our time of need, the staff at emergency in Eriksdale, and at the Childrens Hospital, Dr. Neil Burnett and staff, and Anishinaabe Child and Family Services.
