Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRENDA MARGRET CHARTRAND (nee STENSON) April 17, 1950 - October 8, 2003 It is with great sadness the family of Brenda Chartrand announces that she has lost her battle with cancer. Brenda spent her last 5 and one half months at Grace Hospital Palliative Care where everyone grew very attached to her. Brenda is lovingly remembered by her three children, Jason, Denise and Kevin, and Lainie; her mother Violet Stenson; four brothers, four sisters and their families. Brenda was predeceased by her father Stanley Stenson, January 2, 1998; her former husband Wilson Chartrand, July 30, 1996; and nephew Daniel Stenson October 2, 2000. The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful compassionate nurses and staff on 4 West Palliative Care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Ness Avenue Baptist Church, 2700 Ness Ave. on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Laidlaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brendas memory to Grace Hospital Hospice, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
