ANNA SCHROEDER 1914 - 2003 On Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Anna Schroeder (nee Braun), aged 89, of the Salem Home, Winkler, formerly of Kronsthal, went to her eternal rest. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry G. Schroeder on February 1, 2000, and by two sisters and two brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing four daughters, Rita Schroeder of Grand Marais, Elvera and Henry Peters of Altona, Helen-Anne and Brian Metzger of Calgary, AB, Liz Schroeder of Calgary, AB; two sons, Edwin Schroeder and Marie Wood of Calgary, AB, Vic and Leona Schroeder of Winnipeg; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six sisters; two brothers and their families. Viewing will be held Thursday and Friday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Rev. Arnie Neufeld and Rev. Menno Janzen officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery. Donations may be made to M.C.C. or to the Salem Foundation Inc. Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler in care of arrangements. 204-325-4201.
