TEDDY SMALL It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother, uncle and great uncle, Teddy Small, on October 5, 2003, after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by sister, Mary (Steve) Mamchuk; brother, Carl (Mildred) sister-in-law, Lily; nieces and nephews, Betty (Ken) Leduchowski, Craig and Shauna (Garth) Hazlitt; Bill (Pam) Mamchuk, Corey, Carla; Charlene (Jerry) Wowchuk, Brenden, Morgen; Lori (Paul) Wainwright, Kaley, Brody; Nadine (Junior) Small den Brok, Eleanor Small, Helen (Kevin) Webster, Shelby, Dylan; Rod (Brenda) Snopeck, Jordan, Victoria, Hayley; godson, Craig Stocki. He was predeceased by his father, Mike; mother, Elizabeth and brother George. Teddy was born January 15, 1940, at their homestead in Fisher Branch, where he spent his earlier years. Teddy started working on construction at a very young age. He was not a stranger to hard work. Teddy always had a camera on hand to take pictures of all the places he went to and sites that he had seen, but he always made time for his family. Our favourite memories are the special times he spent with each one of us. Teddy was a great outdoorsman. Hunting, fishing, gardening and picking mushrooms were some of his favourite times. He was also well known for his good cooking. Teddy was a very private man and it was an honour to be considered one of his friends, we are very thankful for the special people in his life. Special thank you to Evelyn and Gladys for being great neighbours. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian National Home, with Wesley Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at the Christian Congregation Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Fisher Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Fisher Branch, MB (204) 372-6803/372-6271. "Forever in our hearts"
