PETER GEORGE JENNER It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Peter George Jenner on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at the age of 60. Peter was predeceased by his mother Agnes; his father Alfred and older brother Billy. He is survived by his special friend Luanna Stelko; his sons, James (Tracey), Rob (Jeannine) and their mother Gladys; his grandsons, Jared, Jesse and Travis; as well as his brother Bart and two sisters, Elsie and Mary. Numerous nieces and nephews also cherish his memory. Peter was born and raised in South St. Vital where he started working with his family in Jenners Greenhouses. He left to become an electrician with C.P.R. in 1965 where he remained until his retirement in 2002. He spent his last years with Luanna in Lee River, where he took pride in his flowers and water features in his yard. He will be sorrowly missed by all who knew him. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering for friends and family will be held at P. Coutu Funeral Home, 156 Marion St. on Saturday, October 11 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, R3L 0K6.
