Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE TOMCHYSHYN (KOWALYK) September 10, 1906 - October 10, 2003 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband Michael in 1977; daughter-in-law Mary in 2002; she leaves to mourn her sons, Walter and Stanley (Patricia) grandchildren, Theresa (Brent), Ottawa, ON, Thomas (Rita), Winnipeg, Paul (Susan), St. Louis, MO. USA; great-grandchildren, Larissa, Adriana (Ottawa), Drew, Dana (Winnipeg), Andrew, Gillian (St. Louis). Mom was born in Western Ukraine (Ternopil). She came to Canada in 1927, worked for a relative in the restaurant business and met the love of her life Michael. Mom worked as a seamstress in many sewing factories during the war years. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Josephs Residence at 1149 Leila Ave. for their excellent care of Mom. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (Today), October 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Mikhail Kouts officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
